I was shocked when I heard
that the Federal Government had just discovered about 84 legitimate and legal
routes through which people could come or go out of Nigeria, while about 1,497
illegal routes that entered the country were also been uncovered.
This could possibly
explain the reason for the continuous increase in our population. Sometimes,
when I see the Alamajaries, I wonder
if they came into the country through the sea or were they actually given visas.
These people flood into the country with their entire village even without the
custom officers being aware.
Though the government has moved into action to
handle the situation but be careful, for those living close to the boundaries before
they come from nowhere and hick jack your goats and fowls.
