What
words do you think would be enough to say to this 23-year-old
pregnant Adaeze Mba who confessed that she had sold her unborn baby for
N200,000, before its actual birth?.
The
lady was also arrested for conniving with her husband to sell their neighbour’s
four-year-old son for N400, 000. She
also said that she and her husband, Chibueze, had sold two other children for
N700, 000.
The
funniest part of the story was that in March 2013, she and her husband sold
their neighbour’s son, whom she claimed was following her around in, they
succeeded in selling him for N400, 000 and relocated to Calabar after the
deal.
What
level of poverty would make a right thinking mother to think up such a callous
idea?
